I haven’t written in a week because I’ve been busy finishing up my belated Christmas gifts. Not that it matters that I haven’t updated the site because not a single person has read it yet besides me (which is OK because I’m still trying to get the hang of this anyway).
So, to finish my Christmas gifts I’ve been busy learning to sew, on the new machine my wonderful boyfriend gave me for Christmas.
These are what I’ve been making. I did make one for myself as a test run, because I wouldn’t make my friends carry something wicked terrible. Although slightly homemade-looking is acceptable.
Both bags are from Simplicity Pattern #4670.
I used lightweight denims (from Joann’s) for the outsides to make them more durable, and cotton prints for the lining (purple vines= Joann’s , pink flowered = reprodepot.com , blue flowered = contemporarycloth.com).
