I’ve been on a “green” kick lately, mostly because I’m trying to be more frugal. (Although you may notice that I buy A LOT of books- my biggest splurge).
I read about Re-Creative in the possibly-now-defunct Adorn (which I will miss dearly).
This book has lots of great projects using everyday items. Some of them are a little too recycled looking for my taste (a photo frame made out of gray packing foam isn’t very decorative to me). My favorite projects are the tea tin clock on the cover, and the license plate box. I’m starting to amass quite a collection of license plates in my moves over the years, and I’d love to be able to put them on display.
This book will make you think twice before trashing anything.
